Masterklass with Klavdij Sluban 2025-2026, Paris

Le Masterklass offers individualised and personalised support during one year  to help participants develop a sensitive and meaningful photography under the guidance of Klavdij Sluban, renowned and appreciated for his uncompromising expression and his work with teenagers in prison.

Dates: December 2025 – November 2026.
With one meeting per month, three in group and nine individual, the in-person encounters take place in a spacious loft in the heart of Paris.
Guided throughout by Klavdij’s experience and generosity, each participant  completes a project according to an individual program adapted to one’s own progression. Writing texts will be part of the project development. Editing, the cornerstone of Le Masterklass, allows for a better understanding of one’s work and, therefore, the direction to take in order to create a coherent portfolio, exhibition or book publication.

Le Masterklass propose un accompagnement individuel et personnalisé durant une année pour construire un projet photographique sensible et sensé avec une écriture d’auteur en compagnie de Klavdij Sluban, reconnu et apprécié pour son expression sans concession ainsi que pour son travail avec les adolescents en prison.

Dates: Décembre 2025 à Novembre 2026.

Au rythme d’une rencontre par mois, 3 en groupe et 9 individuelles, les rencontres en présence ont lieu dans un loft spacieux au cœur de Paris.

Guidé-e tout le long par l’expérience et la générosité de Klavdij, un programme individualisé permet à chaque participant-e de réaliser une série personnelle. L’écriture de textes fera partie de l’élaboration du projet.

L’editing, clef de voûte du Masterklass, permet une meilleure compréhension de son travail, donc de la direction à suivre pour la création d’un portfolio cohérent, d’une exposition ou de la publication d’un livre.

Le Masterklass se poursuit et se bonifie suite à son succès et surtout grâce au succès des travaux réalisés par les stagiaires récompensés et reconnus sous forme de prix, expositions, livres… Cet été aux Rencontres d’Arles dans le cadre des Voies Off, le projet « If Slovenia were », réalisé avec Le Masterklass en Slovénie, a été présenté sous forme d’exposition et de slideshow. Le Masterklass unique en son genre, se poursuit en 2020-2021. Unique, puisqu’il propose un suivi sur toute une année, dans un loft au cœur de Paris, avec Klavdij Sluban, personnalité reconnue et estimée  du monde de la photographie. Le Masterklass propose des rendez-vous en groupe, quatre sur une année, mais surtout un suivi individuel et personnalisé, en fonction de l’évolution photographique de chaque stagiaire.
